People do Good and Feel that when they will be in Crisis, they would 'Invoke' their past deeds to get some 'Instant Help'. They believe that the Beneficiaries of their Good Deeds will come to their Rescue.
Case A: Mr. Rajan helped his nephew Veer.
Present Response: Veer doesn't recognise the contribution and sacrifice of Mr. Rajan. Veer says, "Whatever he (Rajan) did was just 'normal'. Even without his help, I would have attained the same status. My mother had had enough money and several other relatives from my mother's side were ready to look after me."
Fact: Rajan actually adopted and raised Veer after his father's death. Rajan remained unmarried and raised Veer like his own son would have been brought up. Veer's mother was in absolute penury and her family had deserted her. Without Rajan, Veer would have been subjected to Poverty and never ending Struggle. Therefore, Veer is actually Lying.
Case B: Mrs. Ahuja is grateful to her Brother who helped her after her husband's death.
Present Response: She thanks her brother everyday for 'helping' her in crisis. She is a proud sister.
Fact: Mrs. Ahuja's brother, Rakesh, was a liar and drunkard. He didn't come to 'help' her. In fact, he had lost all his wealth in gambling and his wife had also spurned him. Having no money and family, he fled to her sister's place to seek her 'kindness'. There he found that his brother-in-law was no more then. He stayed there for food and work, while everybody thought that he has 'left' everything to 'support' her aggrieved sister. Thereafter, Rakesh had joined his sister's company. Now, he assists and guides Mrs. Ahuja's son in making decisions and business deals. Rakesh wife has returned and he has 2 children now. Rakesh owns a big house.
Conclusion:
1. Case A: Mr. Rajan's Good Work has been Discounted. "Great Soul Humiliated"
2. Case B: Rakesh has actually done nothing. However, Mrs. Ahuja has overstated his 'deeds'. "Useless fellow over-Honoured".
3. Everything depends on the whims of the Beneficiaries and the People on the Receiving End. Only they can 'Acknowledge' or 'Invoke' your Past Deeds.
4. Self-Publicity or Praise is not going to help you anymore.
Remember: What Good you did 10 years ago can't be quoted or certified by you. It can be done only by those who were Benefitted or Influenced.
