Sudarsh wants to know the reason behind his failure. He says, "I care for everyone. I always deliver my best." He becomes excited and restless to utter everything that happened to him. He wants to narrate his whole story in a few seconds (like one tries to shove a big box into a smaller one). "I do meticulous research. All details are taken care of. I am well-dressed and follow all social codes," he quickly adds. "Still I don't know the reason. Why do people reject me? Why don't I get what I deserve? WHY?" he throws questions at me.
Precisely, I'm not a psychologist or God. I'm like any other guy who has some knowledge derived from society. My USP is that I keep things simple and try to be just myself. Here my role is of a friend. So, my conscience says that "He Fails because he is Perfect". Yes! Perfection is a very broad term with several ramifications. He actually does multi-tasking and yet never makes a mistake. On the other hand, his contemporaries struggle to keep pace with the duty allotted to them. Remember, being genius is an "AbNormality". Normal people don't welcome abnormality. They disdain inferiority and envy superiority. So, at last nothing is left to be admired. Same is the case with my friend who is actually a "perfectionist". Had he been slightly less accurate, he would have invited empathy and suggestions to improve his performance. The way out is to pretend to be "normal". He should make people around him feel that he is just like them. For this, Sudarsh should commit some minor mistakes that won't cost him much loss. He should bring his genius out only in a few cases when the higher management demands so. By this way, he would make more friends and get inputs from "insiders" about what the "enemy camp" thinks. He could also use the "neutral people" to bridge the gap.
No one loves a superior personality, do they?
Perfection always causes stress and arouses jealousy. This is true for all walks of life. Be it any school, college, university, game, neighbourhood or country; this rule applies everywhere. Being a Perfectionist is not bad, but you have to keep several other things on your mind such as Human nature, Office Politics, Corporate Diplomacy and local war tactics. Otherwise, all the rest will unanimously unite to delete your very existence and you would end up asking: "What was my mistake?"
Try to find out the results yourself.
Thank You
