PoweR PacKeD interview PerforMANces

Making the Difference and Taking the Lead

1. WALK AND TALK LIKE A WINNER.
2. A RESUME WITHOUT A COVER LETTER IS LIKE A PERFUME WITHOUT SMELL.
3. SEEK PERMISSION TO ENTER THE INTERVIEW ROOM. GREET THE INTERVIEWER AND SIT AFTER HINTED BY THE INTERVIEWER TO DO SO.
4. DON’T PANIC or BE NERVOUS. DON’T TRY TO IMPRESS. JUST BE YOURSELF. DON’T BE IN A HURRY. FIRST, LISTEN CAREFULLY. SECOND, UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION. THIRD, ANSWER POLITELY AND MATURELY. THE ANSWER SHOULD BE COMPLETE AND SATISFACTORY. THAT’S ALL. BREATHE NORMALLY AND SIT LIKE A GENTLEMAN. DON’T MAKE ANNOYING GESTURES OR WORRIED FACES. IT SHOULD APPEAR THAT YOU ARE UNDER SELF-CONTROL AND A CONFIDENT PERSONALITY.
5. THE RESULT IS NOT IN YOUR HANDS. IT DEPENDS ON SEVERAL FACTORS BEYOND YOUR CONTROL AND COMPREHENSION. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TO GIVE YOUR BEST PRESENTATION. YES! INTERVIEWS ARE A FORM OF PRESENTATIONS! SO, DON’T BLAME YOURSELF FOR UNWANTED OR UNEXPECTED RESULTS.
6. BE HAPPY AND FULL OF LIFE DURING THE INTERVIEW-PROCESS. DON’T BE OVER-EXCITED. BEING NORMAL AND HUMBLE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.
7. BRING THE FOCUS ON YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS. DISCUSS YOUR DRAWBACKS OR BAD DAYS WITH SINCERITY AND HONESTY. LOOK RELAXED, CALM AND COMPOSED.
8. TRY TO NEGOTIATE THE BEST PACKAGE WITH PROMISING FUTURE PERKS.
9. YOU MAY HAVE PERCEIVED THE OUTCOME DURING THE PROCESS. BE IT NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE, DON’T FORGET TO THANK THE INTERVIEWER BEFORE LEAVING THE ROOM. YOU CAN SAY:”THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRECIOUS TIME AND SINCERE CONSIDERATION”.
10. FAILURE IS A DIFFERENT SUCCESS. IT DOESN'T MEAN THE END OF WORLD FOR YOU. LIFE IS FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES. REMEMBER, THERE ARE FAR MORE OPPORTUNITIES THAN ABILITIES.

BEHIND THE SCENES:

Keep it simple: You want a job and the Employer wants a suitable candidate. You will work for your company and in turn, the company will pay you. You will say goodbye to the company once you are suitably experienced and offered a better package by some other multinational. The company will fire you or devise ways to force you to resign when it finds that you are no longer required (for whatever reasons). True!

Post-Interview FormalitiesThank You letters, Acceptance and Withdrawal letters, AND Letters of Negotiation PLAY A DECISIVE ROLE AFTER THE INTERVIEW.

PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT: Consider this, "I want to acquire new and relevant skills necessary to maintain the quality and standard of my work. Diversification and Transformation have become the key aspects of the globalised economy. Any process can throw up new challenges any time. I am ready to deliver what you want. All I want is your Trust and Appreciation. Give me some time to demonstrate my Adaptability and Versatility. If you consistently doubt my potential, how can I perform? Please motivate me and hope for the best. A Sincere Thanks."
